jpeg pics to avatar
I'm sure this question has to be posted and answered somwhere already but I need help. All my pics I'd like to use for an avatar are too large. they are in jpeg format and I don't know how to shrink them down without just cropping which cuts out most of the picture. I'd appreciate any help someone can give me.
Thanks in advance,
Labrat

Not sure what photo software you are using, but when you save or export it you should be able to scale it down. If it is 3200 x 2400 in size you can keep the same ratio by making it 400 x 300. Let us know what you are using and I am sure someone here can assist.

There is many posts already on CFF on resizing images, avatars, and posting various size and formats of images.
Use the vBulletin "search" tab and type in "webresizer" or resize, or even avatar.
WebResizer online is the easiest fastest way to resize images for emailing, posting Avatars, or the file or physical size of an image.
Web site: http://www.webresizer.com/
IrFanView is an excellent free Image Viewer, and resizer Re:

Here are some posts already on the forums easily found by using the CFF Search tab: [The first link give you a lot of information on what your trying to do, and gives the File size and format restrictions on the forums.
