Wonderful news! I would love to vote for candidates from this party.
Small one-issue parties here in the USA at least occasionally have disproportionately greater influence when their vote is needed in hotly contested close votes in Congress.
In other words, the "nudist party" can lend their support to be the straw that breaks the camel's back, in exchange for a nudist-friendly rider on a bill that is going through the house.
Here in the USA, nudists have to fly under the radar. Patrick Lehey is a very tolerant Senator from Vermont. He is not necessarily a nudist, but he has insisted on leniency on skinnydippers.
I wonder if Arnold Schwartzenegger of California will use the governor's office to be fair to nudists. His former career of bodybuilding celebrates the human form, including the nude human form. Look for any copies you can find of the book, "Pumping Iron" to see for yourself.

Also, Arnold appears nude in the Terminator movies. Unfortunately, as far as him leading an American Nudist Party, his political capital may have already been spent.

Albinus, I am just hoping that he could use the office of governor to liberalize the beaches of his state just a bit. Baby steps! This is America after all!! Hate to say that about my native land, but we've got a long way to go.

It is really good that there is now a Nudist Political Party somewhere in the world. Maybe it will encourage more to follow? (of course, I have no idea what I am talking about...)

I hope Australia politics are not like American Politics. But I fear politics is politics. I just think politics has a way of taking things that are innocent and adding corruption, no matter how pure or of good intentions it is.

Have no fear, they have about as much political clout as the 'Free Cheese For All" party. It's really just there in name, no platform and more importantly no support from the naturist community due to their lack of desire to do anything or even talk with naturists. They "cannot be bothered" to talk to us (yes they have said that) and we don't really know what they are supposed to be doing.
