Ive had a online nudist club for more than a year that now has 75 members and from what I can tell most of them are local people, so now I want to actually have a meeting but its been hard trying to get a hold of a lot of these members. I know that there are some who are willing to meet because Ive already have met a handful of them in clothed and nudist enviorments. I need some fresh Ideas on how to get this thing going because I have none. I know there is a place for a nudist club here in Fresno where I live.
Thanks bye

Get together the ones whom you have met and start planning some get-togethers. I, too, have an online group and am hoping to turn it into a non-landed club.
It may start small, but it would be worth it to get real-life interest started.
You may also want to get into contact with the AANR ( www.aanr.com ). They can assist you in getting a club off the ground and will even put you into touch with someone who can be a kind of an online mentor. If you email me off list, I can give you her email (or give her your addy).
Good luck. We can never have too many nudist clubs.

Phillip: Send a message to Skippy at Ontario Roaming Bares ( http://www.come.to/orb_toronto).
I believe that he has prepared some material on how to start a non-landed club.

Phillip D.: Sounds like a great idea. I live about 35 miles, but I would only make any meetings on the weekends. Send me a private message if you ever plan on having any sort of meeting. Hopefully, it will be in a nude environment, and it would be a "pot luck". This is one way of trying to get people together, with food and drinks (sodas, coffee, beer, etc.)
Are there any places available in Fresno where a hall or a meeting room could be rented for an event, or are you planning on having this at someones house? Hopefully at someones house, where it would be more homey, but in any case, a meeting room would suffice just as well.
Great idea. Keep in touch.

Hello Phillip D,
I'm 20 miles south of Fresno. I think a non-landed club would be a great idea for this area. Looking at the postings, there seem to be a few nudists in the central CA area. NudeM has some good ideas. Keep us informed...

Check out Naturally California - it's a non-landed club in the San Diego area. Perhaps the founder (Brian) can give you advice>

Non landed clubs can work out really great. The best ones depend on active member participation and keeping things pretty relaxed and laid back. Pot luck meetings in members homes to plan trips to nearby hotsprings or nude beaches or nudist resorts are good. Member participation is the key then just let your imagination guide you. Oh a monthly news letter is a good idea to. You could do it on email instead of paper to cut down on the cost.

When I had my singles club I asked AANR and TNS to send me the paperwork to become an affiliated club. AANR sent me a two inches thick package full of regulations, rules, and even a test. I would have to pay $100 and come up with a set number of members within a certain timeframe (more $ for AANR). TNS sent me a few pages with really few requirements and it was totally free. They were very helpful with answering questions too. Guess who I went with?
