Hi all. Just wandering if there are any nudist or thongers here in Ky.? If so, where do you go? I have gone hiking in some of the wild life management areas around central ky( nude or in a thong). Hey, Ky., glad to hear I'm not the only one from there. At the moment, I reside in cent. Florida. I have been here for over a year now, but I spent my entire life there in Ky., and the only place we had to lose our clothes was, taking our chances at the rivers and lakes. I am from W.Ky., and I have searched everything you could think of for a place to be nude without going to jail. There is no place in Ky., but there is in, Ind., Ohio, and Tennessee. That will be the closest spots for you.

I've gone hiking and swimming at Land Between the Lakes in West Kentucky. Generally, it seems okay if you use some common sense about finding remote trails and beaches. You can't beat the scenery and seclusion away from the developed areas.

My family used to do night skinny dipping at Lake Cumberland Kentucky.

We rented a houseboat, pulled up to the head of a small cove to keep out other boats, dropped anchor, and once it got dark, we dropped clothes too.

I was a little bolder than others in my family and did some discreet daytime nude swimming too. (i.e. slipping off swim trunks in the water)

I don't get over to that side of the state very often. I've heard that the Daniel Boone Forest area is a beautiful place for discreet hiking, though.

Well, it finally got warm enough to venture out last week. Friday was a beautiful day to hike into some of the remote parts of Land Between the Lakes. There was plenty of sun, and it's still too early for ticks. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Hope everyone gets out to their favorite sites soon.

I read some where that ticks will get under your clothes and then burrow in to your skin. So if you aren't wearing clothes, you don't have much to worry about.

I'm doubtful of the tick theory. Dogs and cattle get ticks even though they're nude all the time.

You do have a better chance of spotting a tick before he gets too burrowed in if you're not wearing clothes, but it's not a guarantee.

Last summer, I went hiking one day and ignored my own advice about tick repellant (which is especially necessary around the lake, where they've had a real problem for about twenty years). The only places the little buggers got a good bite was under my socks. Same with the chiggers. For some reason, they seem to prefer having clothing to hide under, and they especially like waistbands and tight cuffs. That's one reason I prefer to hike naked there whenever I can -- it cuts down on the insect problem.
