Introducing Mates to Naturism

I grew up with the naturist lifestyle as with my twin bro Casey, younger sister Julie and my parents. Casey & I have a best friend we have known since I can remember. His parents are not into the naturist lifestyle but don't hold it against us in any way.

Our mate (Matt) has been with us to the local nude beach twice, today was the third. The first time he went with us he stripped down to his speedo's only, that was cool as it was his first time, we understood that he was not comfortable stripping off totally for the first time. He joined us in volleyball etc... The second time he stripped off totally but not right up front, after he stripped of he sat and layed on his towel for the rest of the day. He played voleyball with us while in his speedo's but after he stripped off he just sat or layed down.

Today he stripped off with Casey and I at the same time, we stood around and talked about the footy and other sport stuff. we were joined by a few other of our naturist mates while just standing around. Matt felt comfortable, I think but when two of the female youth naturists came over and started talking you could see he did not feel comfortable any more. I guess being naked closely in front of females makes him uncomfortable but after about an hour you could see he didn't even realise he was naked and joined us in a game of voleyball naked.

Casey & I haven't asked him how he felt about today but I don't know if I should bring it up or just leave it be until we go to the beach again and invite him to see if we will join us.

Hey RT.

All the friends that I have told about naturism all seem interested and would come along if asked. Before I had said anything though I was on holiday in Ibiza and my best mate told me that whilst we were there he would like to go to the naturist beach. This was without any prompting from me and I was quite surprised. Not half as surprised as he was when I said that I knew exactly where it was and then told him I was a naturist and about naturism in the UK.
We went along and he enjoyed it and has been nude since with his girlfreind on another holiday. I wouldnt say that he was a naturist just a 'tolerant textile'. This has been the case with all of my friends - they were tolerant and there has been more interest than fun poking.

With my partners freinds to it is the ame and we have been nude in front of them and they are not too bothered about covering up when we go to the beach etc.

I have found that getting people there can sometimes be difficult but once they are there they love it. I then leave it up to them to decide if they want to do it again.

We try to keep the nude flag waving here in Turkey - we have a swimming pool on the balcony in the middle of the city - our firends come and join us for nude swims there. We find that no one is shy or inhibited, although genrally nudity is frowned upon in Muslim countries.
I guess it is the male bond that makes nudity fine amongst males - everyone for example does national service here and spends a lot of time naked - cleaning jobs are done nude inside and out ( this is more supposed to be a punishmnet thing rather than anything to do with naturism!).
We have one particular friend who is in the army now doing his service - he keeps calling us and asking if we are still nude, as he is visiting in Septemebr and wants to visit us. he has also been recruiting others for us - it looks like November will be a busy nude time for us in our house!
