Celebrities

Why don't we have a section on the website called "Celebrities in support of nudism" or something like that, with quotes from and possibly even pics from celebrities who support nudism. Hey, if Christopher Reeves and Micheal J. Fox can garner Congressional money for research in paralysis and parkinsons, maybe we can garner a little legal support of our own (like maybe unfuzzed TV). Just a thought/suggestion.

The last thing on earth I want is government funding for nudism. I have no doubt what so ever that the "support" would be as efficient as the post office and as compassionate as the IRS. Government research into anything like this, including medical research, is not the proper function of government. Government is only legalized force. Taxes is money taken at gun point from private citizens, only legal because the government does it. Government is the cause of most of the problems in the world today. Far less government is the answer, not the solution, to expanding nudism.

There are celebrity nudists, what would be useful to all nudists would be if the celebrities openly came in support of nudism as a lifestyle. Unfortunatly society does look up at the people on pedestals. One problem celebrities have is exploitation, so unless a celebrity is trying some outragious self promotion, like Madonna's book "Sex", I doubt we will see celebrity nudists come out off the closet, so to speak. Lately I heard Regis Philbin was visiting a nude beach for Thanksgiving. ET even reported scant rumors that he went bare horse-back riding. I agree that more government regualtions aren't the answer to anything, but some more good media attention can be of some help.

Nude Train: Actually I like your suggestion about
the celebrity post. There is quite a bit of
usable quotes from celebrities on the subject
of nudity. I'll talk with Corky about it.
