I have always thought one problem with Christianity was that so often we look at we disagree on instead of what we agree on. I have never met, and do not expect to ever meet, anyone who agrees with me on everything.

This is a bulletin board for Nudist and our beliefs. Instead of talking about what we disagree with, why don't we focus on what we do agree on - nudity? Let's direct our disagreements to the textile impaired population and how they hamper us. I think we can agree with that.

I must disagree. lol.
Aside from the disagreements of Stu, and the occasional notice of nudists seeking each other or resorts, most of my interest in this site comes from arguing about non-nudism issues.

I, uh...must agree, namedun.

I enjoy the feeling of no clothes, but for Pete's sake I honestly don't have any interest in talking about nudity day in and day out forever. I mean, how many things can one say about nudity or how nudity relates to gardening or how it relates to religion or how it relates to international banking and on and on and on...

I do enjoy discussing a variety of other topics when time allows. Why limit it to just one subject? And if we only talk about that which we agree on, how boring is that?

gamblefish: I love no clothes!!

hw: Yeah, me too...

FrankR: Uh, ditto...

namedun: Yeah, I agree...

Bartamus: This is nice!!!

Cindiann: You're all wrong!!!!

stu: I'm offended!!

gamblefish: (insert stupid juvenile joke here)

Discussion and debate can only thrive in the environment of differing opinions. Wow, purty Fi-low-sof-ick-al, huh?

I'd much rather hear about places people have been or nice places we could visit.
I hope to find some decent nudist resorts I can spend some of my vacation time at. Hopefully they don't cost an arm and a leg like the few I have heard of.

Debates don't hold my interest for long.

I don't particularly like debating since it usually gets nowhere. Although it can actually be fun at times as long as it's done amicably. Usually neither side gives in and says "You're right and I'm wrong." So apparently the only reason for most if not all debating is to argue. Any debating I've done in the past was with the futile hope of convincing the other person that I was right and he was wrong. However, age and experience have taught me that I'm seldom right.

I enjoy reading people's success stories of how they were able to be nude in public places and no one particularly cared or was offended. I enjoy reading about people's first experiences or any other nude experiences. I enjoy being a mentor to the young who are asking questions and seeking answers about naturism. And more than anything I enjoy communicating with Christian naturists whose religious beliefs are similar to mine, although they don't have to be religious as long as they don't criticize my beliefs, and I'll try hard not to criticize theirs.

However, I don't like the constant bickering and criticism--particularly against Christianity. Some people aren't happy unless they're disagreeing with someone, calling someone names, or criticizing their beliefs. Is being friendly and agreeable really all that boring? Not to me.

There's nothing wrong with disagreements; after all, they're a sign of diversity. But there comes a point in any discussion where it's better just to agree that we disagree, and leave it there.
