Hello,
Had an idea regarding notification of arriving private messages. Is there a way to set up an option that members can select so when they sign in, if they have any new private messages a little window pops up telling them so they can go to their InBox and read them?
Just an idea.

Funny, I was just thinking about making a similar suggestion.

You already have the option to be allerted each time you receive a private message!
Go to "View/Update Profile" and you will see in the "Your Preference" section, it asks you to check "Yes" or "No" as to whether you want to "Be notified by email when someone sends you a private message"
Since I checked "Yes", INA has sent me e-mail informing me that someone sent me a private message, so that I could read it. This a great feature, much better than that which has been suggested by the above posts.

True, but if a person doesn't have this option selected then they won't be notified by e-mail.
Is it possible for the link to "View instant private messages/my profile" could be changed to "You have (X) new messages" when new private messages are received?

TJ Naturist: That's a good idea. Corky our
founder will probably look into it.
