is it possible for me to wander/jog nude on public forests, owned by a town, without fear of serious prosecution? i am limited by my resources, i live in an downtown-Boston area with 5 other students (clothes-minded people) and I can't find any places to get naked!

If you were caught you could be arrested for indecent exposure and then you would have to register as a "sex offender".
There is a small but nice place here on the Cape called "Sandy Terraces". It's a small nudist campground that allows day vistors and singles.
I also sent you a private message.

It will depend on what the laws are in that particular town. Go to your local library and research the laws there and remember that local police are usually NOT up to date on nudity laws.
Have you checked to see if there are local swims in your area in the cold months?

In most states there is land owned by the gouvernment. It is legal here to be without cloths if you are discret.A short distance off any hiking trail is a good start. My wife an i live in the mountains an have secret places we go to.If a town owns the property,it is merly declared open space ,very dangerous to go naked here; how about rooftops in boston for sun bathing.Your young be carefull, check with other local naturists. They can help you even if you dont get in there club because your single.

Also be careful of Massachusetts' famous "Blue laws" that have been on the books since the days of the puritans. I'd hate to see you booked on a 350 year old law! Probably put you in a stockade or something--maybe even make you paint a red "N" on yourself.
I moved from Boston to San Diego some years ago, so I know where you're coming from. Gotta admit attitudes about nudity are way different here. It's very refreshing.

newcastlecalkid,
There is also the pilgrims club that have winter swims. Their web is:
www.sunclad.com/pilgrim/
Plus is nude yoga in Cambridge that holds two evening classes a week. If you are interested let me know and I can give you that info, also. Just don't have with right now.
Good luck and have a Happy Healthy Holiday
