When viewing these boards using the Today's Topics feature, clicking on the hyperlink to the post normally takes you to the page you want. You then scroll down and read the post. But if there's more than one page it takes you to the first page of the thread so you have to click again on the page number to get to the most recent post.
To me the logic should be that if you click on a hyperlink to a specific post it should take you directly to the point in the thread where you can read the post and not to the beginning of the thread in which the post appears.
Is there any way of being able to change the hyperlink to take you straight to the last page of the thread?

Me too! Me too!
When the feature was added to let you jump directly to new posts, I thought that was a great help. However, the longer the thread (the more pages) the less useful the feature is.
Now I try to remember to check the number of pages before using the hyperlink (didn't know before that this is what it's called), but sometimes I forget. When there are multiple pages, this feature actually slows down navigation.

I stopped using the today's topic feature, because I would find it didn't include all of the topics that were new to me.
Sometimes I think it would be nice to go directly to the new posts when I enter the topic, but I actually find it good to be able to see the post that opened the topic. Helps me remember the thread of what has been read. I then hit the "jump to new posts" to start reading.

I have a question for Bart, Corey, Corky or whoever: Why not delete two of the "Nudist Trekkies" posts? We don't need 3 of the same thing, although I can't see what the purpose of that post was in the first place.

Jon-Marc: You're right. I will do just that.
Let me remind everybody once again about
duplicating commercial announcements on this
forum. It is not allowed. The whole message
will be deleted!
