Hey there,
I'm a 22 year old guy currently living in the UK (though not for much longer I expect) and I am also fairly new to naturism. I have been to naturist beaches several times in France, where I was studying last year, although I always went alone, and I have never been to one in this country, as it is usually too cold! Its a great shame, but it seems that there are relatively few possibilities for youger people to get together and enjoy naturism in Britian because, as far as I can gather from the web, it seems to be dominated by people over 50. However, I hope to give find some way to get involved over the next few months. Suggestions anybody?
May I also take this opportunity to say what a great site this is and how much I have enjoyed reading all the comments and advice on various issues- the youth section in particular has made me feel a lot more relaxed about being a younger naturist starting out - there have been some fantastic contibutions from some clearly genuine and committed people - I hope it lasts!

Hey SS22, RT from Down Under here.
I'm 22 and have a twin bro (Casey)he is in the UK at the moment visiting a mate he met through the British Youth Naturist Group (Ben). He found there website on the net.
From my understanding they have events every weekend. The last one was a music festival. If I can find the URL of the website I will post it for you.
Casey & I grew up in a naturist family and enjoy the lifestyle, have a lot of naturist mates and non naturist mates here in Sydney and other parts of NSW.
Well, I'm off to the beach with some mates again. Had an awesome time yesterday at Cobblers Beach here in Sydney, Australia. One of our non naturist mates will be coming with us again today. This will be his third time to Cobblers, obviously he feels comfortable now but the first few times he was a bit scared.

Thanks RT (and Ben)
I had already heard of the group, but they had not posted any new events for ages, so I wondered if they had closed down, although clearrly they haven't!
Ben, may I ask if you will be planning events in the outside of the S/E at any point. I see from the site that there was one in June near Newcastle, do you guys have anything else planned?

Hi SS22.
The reason that there are no new additions to the main website is that all of our summer events were posted on there early on. We did attend other CCBN events (the music festival etc) and in total we had about 8 events since May.
We havent closed - far from it ! We are getting bigger all the time and constantly seek new events that we can host.
We do try to host events outside of the S/E. We have been to Bristol, Norwich, Newcastle, Dorset and Cannock this year and only held 2 events in the South East so we are trying. The problem that we have is that two thirds of the membership live in the south east and not many of those outside it were able to attend events.
I promise that we are in no way a southern England group. Iam from the North myself and realise that it is easy to feel isolated 'up there'
Look out for next year when the events will be bigger and more spread out.

SS22: We set up the Young Naturists thread here
at the forum for the exact reason you stated.
We're glad it's reaching out to younger naturists
all over the world
