What do men and women do about pubic hair? Should I shave it off if I go to a resort?

This question has brought many discussions to this forum, but the bottom line is that is a personal choice, and whether you shave down there or not is entirely up to you. There are both kinds at resorts, so either way, you'll find you fit in just find. Besides, no one is supposed to be looking down there anyway, right?

When we are required to be dressed, most of us attempt to make a personal statement as to who we are through our attire. Although, our naked body is about the most personal statement we can make, many of us like to make "modifications". Whether you do this by adding things {tattoos or jewelry} or shaving is your own choice. Whatever makes you comfortable.

There's no actual criteria for being a nudist at a nude resorts/beach. Nudists know that pubic hair is a fact of life and could care less if you have it or not. I've seen and heard of people shaving it all off, trimming it, or leaving it all-natural. Unless it's down-right offensive, nudist could care less. It's YOUR decision.

Pubic hair is really a personal decision. For a lady it does provide a degree of privacy that is lost if you elect to shave or severely trim down there. Not being a smoothie, I can only report that shaving does bring some discomfort to the shaved areas.

Who ever told you we aren't supposed to look at the genital area? Isn't that against the promotion of body acceptance? Aren't we as nudists supposed to accept all parts as equal to all others?

I've been shaven for a few years and it hasn't been uncomfortable at all.

I first asked this question back in september of 2001. I had never been to a nude beach at that time but was planning my first trip.
Since then I have 2 vacations where I spent most of my time on nude beaches. I even spent some time at a nude bar/swimming pool at a small resort.
Never once did I get any negative reaction from the people there.
The nice thing about nudism is that people accept you as you are.
