I think you sohuld notify members when people in their same state has joined the group...That would be pretty cool...or around the same age group...that would be kinda phat too...

Dear Miami,

Considering the size and total number of members we have on this BB, I personally don't see where your solution would be of benefit to most of us who would either PM or outright respond to their messages [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img]

The other disadvantage would be missing out on so many great opportunities for getting to know so many diverse groups of people...like us singles for one and those who have children for two [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

Of course there are PM's and posts,,,but you can't talk to someone if you don't know they exist...

It is just easier to know who is on in your state,,,because like you said...singles like myself are looking to meet others...and meeting other nudist is like finding a piece of hay in a pile of needles...LOL...

State boundaries can be boundaries to your search for friends.

If you make a friend in Pensacola, how often can he or she get together with you at Haulover?

Why should someone from Jacksonville FL ignore a member from Brunswick, GA just a 1/2 hour away when they could meet at Cumberland Island and camp and swim nude there?

I can be in Alabama, North Carolina or Tennessee in less than 2 hours drive from my Georgia home, but I am 5 hours or more away from parts of south Georgia.

What about people who live somewhere else but are free to travel to Miami? They might become good friends!

Keep your options open.

once again the judgmental over analyzers rears it's ugly head...instead of just saying that's a good idea he goes and puts restraints on it...

all he could have done was say I HAVE ANOTHER SUGGESTION...but I guess he doesn't know how to voice his opinion without being negative...

Every good idea can stand scrutiny.
Sometimes good ideas can be made better by incorporating other good ideas into them.

I find other local members simply by making a post from time to time regarding resorts in my area and it never fails to get responses.

When I said "keep your options open" I meant it in a positive constructive light.

Living at the doorstep to Haulover Beach, you are one lucky dude. Speaking of lucky, I wonder if you and Luckyheart could hook up. He was always inviting people to go to Haulover with him.

How about a link to a state/country database where anyone who wants to could put their name in the appropriate area. You could then go to a specific area and see who lives there and PM them if you want to.
