Hello, all. Just out of curiosity, who/what is everyone listening to right now? That kinda stuff interests me (sad, I know...)
Right now, "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode is running on my Media Player. Awesome song. DM is one of my favorite bands, alongside Oingo Boingo, Smashing Pumpkins, Fuel, The Clash, INXS, and Journey. (I'm only 18, but I'm a huge 80's freak)
Of course, my all time favorite artist is Adam Ant/Adam and the Ants. Something about that whooping and chanting revs me up, in addition to his total hot-ness (well, back then, anyway. You should see him now...tsk tsk)!! His "Strip" song, sans the verses, only the chorus, should be INA's anthem. Too bad he had to throw that sexual connotation in. Well, how about posting that chorus, so the uncultured among us can kick it around?

We're just following ancient history,
If I strip for you, won't you strip for me?

Been listening to Ms. Dynamite, a popular UK artist who dabs in everything from rap, r&b, to raggae. She sings of social issues such as racism, sex, aids, violence (esp. domestic abuse)

Anything from Marty Robbins to Metallica as long as it aint RAP.I cant really get into music where they talk instead of sing and make rude noises in the mic instead of putting some sweat into an instrument. And why cant they write their own songs for chrissakes

Croy, what albums/songs of hers do you highly recommend? She sounds interesting. I'd like to look into her music (I like trying different sounds).

Yes! Rap must die! You can't spell "crap" without "rap." (Except for maybe the "Ant Rap" ) No offense to any fans in here, but I just can't stand Eminem!! Please don't get me started....
BTW, I'm listening to "Electric Barbarella" by Duran Duran. One of their few good tracks...

I haven't listened to radio in about 10 years, because it's all the same garbage. (Although I like the band "Garbage") I always play CD's. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Marianne Faithful's more recent stuff. Just amazing!
