Want to form a Club,

I am interested in forming a club. But first a few questions to those of you that are in clubs or run them. I have never done this so bare with me.
1. What is my first step?
2. How do I promote?
3. Is this going to be a major headache?
4. What about legalities?
5. How do I go about advertising?
I will stop there for now. I reside in Northern San Luis Obispo County, for anyone this region who might be interested.

1. What is my first step?
Decide what kind of club that you want. Singles? Couples only? Family? Figure out who you want as your base membership.

2. How do I promote?
I would suggest forming a website or group. I have a group on yahoo. I may also try to get one in MSN communities. And then post in as many forums as you can find. I talked about my group in Netnude, here, a few yahoo groups that I am a member of, and AANR message forum. If you have local nudist friends, have them talk about it, too.

3. Is this going to be a major headache?
Nothing worth anything is easy. Yes, it'll probably be a headache to put together and organize, but it should be worth it. Just have patience and be willing to have things fall apart once in a while. Success is not absence of failure but perseverence in the face of it.

4. What about legalities?
Check with your local laws before taking on any endeavor. Simply organizing a get together at a private property shouldn't be against the law (Unless you live in Arkansas). But if you want to serve alcohol, be prepared to allow for overnight guests and do not allow anyone to drive drunk.

5. How do I go about advertising?
Well, you could try to advertise in your local paper. Other than that, for now you will be limited to just relying heavily on the internet. And money will be an issue as to where and how much you can advertise.

I live in Virginia Beach so I won't be attempting to join your group. But good luck in all your nudist endeavors.
