legal issues in florida

What will happen if a person gets caught nude at a beach in florida and it is illegal? This person is from out of state? We are going to florida at Christmas break and I don't want to get arrested for being nude at a beach which doesn't allow for nude use. We are staying at Cypress Cove and hope they can give us good info for our trips to the ocean and gulf.

I would suggest that you find a place where you can be nude legally while you're there. The risk of getting caught and arrested isn't worth it. I've seen posts in here from people who got caught being nude when and where they shouldn't have and all the trouble they're in because of it. There are a lot of nudist places in Florida. Rojohn: I've been to most parts of Florida except the Panhandle and I'll tell you that it's tough to find beaches where you can be nude.

The exceptions are Apollo and Playalinda Beaches in east central Floria and Haulover Beach in North Miami Beach, all of them well worth a visit. The first two because you can walk for miles and Haulover for the crowd scene.

There are no beaches where you can be nude and relaxed at the same time on the west coast or in the Keys.

Cypress Cove is a great place, and it's only about an hour to Playalinda (I think), so you can do a day trip. Keep in mind that the northern-most parking lot, closest to the c-o area, fills up very early.

Definitely check out the Sanibel naturists. I understand they own the land in question, or occupy it with the consent of the owner. (I may be mistaken about this.) Anyway, if its provate land and screened from the public you're in absolutley no danger of arrest. Why don't you just spend a week at Paradise Lakes Resort. No ocean, but lots of other things to keep you busy. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]

thanks for the info. We are staying at Cypress Cove for the time and we just want to be nude at the ocean and gulf of mexico beaches. We have never swam in the ocean.
