Hi,
Im new to all this. Im 17. I want to go out naked but im scared ill get caught. Not by my parents but by other people...strangers and people i know. I think it would be really auckward and they would probaly tell other people. I would fell better if someone went with me. I would be more comfortable because i would have someone to talk too, and it wouldnt be as werid if someone caught us. The only problem is I dont know anyone who would go with me. I just need someone to go with me. I know there are people in my area who are nudist, because they have a website on places to go naked, but theres only one near me and its only accessible by boat. i just need someone to go with me. Also I dont live anywhere near a resort.... Help!!

Have you thought about inviting a few friends to go skinny-dipping this summer? It's an easy, more-or-less socially accepted way to "get your feet wet", as it were. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img] Pick a nice hot day, and take a "hey, why not" attitude. It might work, but if not, you're not likely to get highly stigmatized for suggesting it.

Another tactic that's been known to work: go for an outing on a hot day, then realize that you've "forgotten" your swimsuit but want to go swimming anyway. Same result, but you're not "that kook who wants people to go skinnydipping with him." [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]
Or just go for a hike alone, if there's a place you can get away from everyone. It would be almost as acceptable as skinnydipping if you decided to catch some rays in a secluded spot where you weren't likely to offend anyone.

i have to agree that anything that involves water is the best place to get naked. once in the water, even the squeemish can get naked.
surfgod -you might want to indicate where you are located since someone on this site might be located near you and could meet you somewhere for an outing. however, i would be careful as you are not 18 yet.
maybe you should measure up a swimming hole first prior to arranging an outing amongst friends. if you know of somewhere in nature where you might be able to skinny dip, you could go yourself and check it out. the best thing is to go early or late in the day, preferably not on the weekend or on a holiday. i often camp in florida and am amazed at how quiet and isolated florida campgrounds are during the week. if you skinnydip at them during the weekend, expect to get caught.

Your scared of being caught? by other people, friends, or the law? The law i can understand, but if you come across others who know you in a nude situation, I wouldn't be scared, I would be pleased to know that they also enjoy the freedom of being nude. I doubt that they would go around telling others they saw you nude at the beach or where ever as they themselves were nude. Even if they were not nude, they must share a interest in being nude by just being there.
As FlordiaDave said, if you post what area you are in, I am sure there is other young people that would respond via email and enjoy joining you as they are probably thinking the same.
just go do it, Nude is not rude, be natural and nude.....try it ...you will like it!
