My wife is reluctant to try a nude resort. What advice would women in the forum give me/her to make her comfortable about trying? I think she is mainly worried about the reaction of others. Thanks.

To All the Guys Who Want to Introduce Your Female Friends to Nudism [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Here is my input speaking from a female point-of-view, my recomendation would be to try and take your wife/girlfiend up on a slower day at your local resort (usually during the week) and preferably after you have been at least once, so you can feel more relaxed and know at least one person there (preferably a couple would be best) [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img] The clubs also have a lot of great literature for just US females [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Another way to prepare here her for her first time is to take here into AANR's website. There is a lot of valuable information on this particular website that I have utilized when helping other guys try and get their spouses up to our Resort.

My strong advise to you also is not to take your bride to a public beach for the first time unless you are prepared to deal with all the major reasons why us females tend to shy away from public nudity in a predominitely male and sometimes uncivilized crouds (females included in this statement) [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif[/img] This is precisely my BIG reason for joining my local club.

One other tidbit of info regarding your local resort, if they focus in on the family (meaning children of all ages Birth to 100+), the likelyhood of events taking place that tend to reasons why us females prefer not going will generally not take place...ie guys sporting erections in public.

Great advice green...I am having the same trouble as travisg. We had a trip planned last June to go to Florida and I had my wife talked into going to Haulover but those plans fell through. I was disappointed but maybe it was for the best. I am finding that the best strategy is patience...I must respect her wishes to remain clothed as much as she respects mine to be nude.

Thanks David77.............My wife is very reluctant to go nude even in the house let alone with others. All I can do for now is be an example and once in a while do a little gentle persuading. Are you married? if so, is your wife a nudist?

Thanks for the replies. I've started going nude around the house, but my wife has only tried once. We're leaving for Jamaica tomorrow, and will be at a private villas. She's promised to try there. Wish me luck.

You ask whether I am married and, if so, is my wife a nudist. I was married for 38 years and my wife died last year of congestive heart failure, after being in poor health for many years. My wife was never a nudist but was free in going nude in the home whenever she wanted to get cooler or whenever, briefly, she felt like sitting around nude, if only she and I were in the home. She had no objections to my attending nudist resorts nor to my sculpturing and painting from nude models at the artist guild for many years. I did not add to the pressure of her having to deal with her ill health, by my trying to persuade her to become a social nudist, which, from her viewpoint, was completely out of the question.

travisg...man do I envy you! Hope you both have a great (and nude!) time in Jamaica. Let us know how it goes..............
