The following story is currently in INA News:
Nude Dogs Offend
Written by Rex
In response to numerous complaints, the Wowserboro Town Council, in Western Australia, has told owners of hairless Chihuahua dogs, that they must exercise their pets at the nude beach.
Owners of clipped breeds, such as poodles, must take their dogs to the Council Offices for assessment. If the animals comply with Council's Canine Modesty Regulations, they may be exercised in public.
A spokesperson for the Canine Decency League was quoted as saying, "Not before time. The moral standards of this town have been going to the dogs".
Another forum member has suggested to me that some people may take it seriously.
I wrote it for The Spoof, a news website which contains fictitious "news", of a satirical nature.
This could never happen in Australia. However, if I saw this in a US news website, I may wonder.
And if I saw it in an English news website, I may think, "Let's see, is that the place where Stu lives?"
