Well, certainly could be good for security reasons. With all the fear of bombers this would solve the problem.

Amazing.
The museum management are actively encouraging the clothesfree lifetstyle by giving free admission.
The textile lady in the picture is engrossed in the artwork and has no reaction at all to the nude couple.
Visualize a North American museum. Will we see a similar situation?
Well, we can always dream it could happen.

That's cool
I wonder how many people took them up on the offer?
It would be great if some community in the USA would promote an event like that....but, I'm doubtful.

There is an art studio in the Twin Cities that is planning an exhibit of nude drawings. They have asked some of the nude models to walk around nude during the show and are also inviting the viewers to disrobe if they want.
The details are still being worked on, so that is all I have for now. I'll post more as I find out more.

If I am not mistaken, the offer for free admittance was ONLY friday july 29th. The exhibition is called "The naked truth". Also, full nudity was not required, swimshorts/bikinies also qualified!
>> The museum management are actively encouraging the clothesfree lifetstyle
That's a not a correct interpretation! The works of art neither depict nudists. It was all about the experience of nudity not jusr as an onlooker, but being one. As you can see especially from the image I attached below, one can start questioning where are the "real" pieces of art? :-)
NB, a possibly better proposal would have been exclusive access free of charge for only those that fully disrobe (no bikinis, no clothes people at all). For just one day this could truly have lead to an interesting experience. Maybe a next time? Here's another pic of the same couple:

Nudes looking at nudes: What a concept.

What I think it shall be looked upon is not in the revolutionary or promotion of the nudist lifestyle but rather 2 things:
- The first thing promoted by the museum is art. And as such, the act of going nude to the gallery is artistic in itself. By that I mean that the experience is not just visual but also extendes to the viewe to other sensorial stimulus.
- The second thing is scandal and publicity. By that, the museum tries to get the attention for itself and for art as a phenomena that can cause a change or be shocking in a social context.[/list]
In that sense, I don't think the museum really cares about nudism as a lifestyle, just a medium for art. Nevertheless, I quite like the idea.
