Yes, that is how you do it in the main forum topics.
To add a new thread in your blog, under "Options" click on "Post to your Blog", and title and add your content.

I cried help back in Nov, now that the formate has change maybe things will be better. I don't know much about the Blogs, but want to learn and be a part of the thing.
