• [Poll] Penis Racing Stripes

How many of us men have a visible Penis Racing Stripe?
A Racing Stripe as defined for this Poll is a distinct darkened stripe of skin on the underside of the penis and sometimes continuing down the center of the scrotum, over the perineum to as far as the anus.
All men have a raised ridge of some degree that is not of a darker color. This does not count as a Racing Stripe for this Poll.
Please answer "Yes" to all questions that apply to you.

I'm going on 58-years-old and never noticed the stripe until now. It's not exactly something that would concern me.

Problem!

I can't see the results till I vote and of course I can't vote because I don't have a penis.

LOL!

I am not going to participate in your poll due to your self interest in male anatomy, and intactness of other males which is of little interest to nudist or females in this forurm.

The forum/topic has provided ample factual information and links on "Penis size, circumcision, and description of the 'raphe' which all males have. Do you really expect males in this forum to go out of their way to inspect their anatomy with mirrors and provide you with digital information as to pigment, color or shape or size of a slang object or male anatomy you refer to as slang.

I don't think the pole is of interest to others, and should be discontinued. Does it really matter to anyone the pigment or visual status of the male ?raphe? or if one has a foreskin or not?

I have an interest in anatomy, general knowledge and statistics, and I like to think I'm open-minded, but I'm more amused than anything.
Sorry about your situation, cyndiann, anyone got any helpful suggestions?

Hey Cyndiann, I'll take it for you and vote NO on everything as Naturist Mark say's, then post a screen shot of the results....STAND BY....

Perhaps we'll start to see it in the "looking for a partner" columns, in amongst the "medium build, non-smoker, good sense of humour" things, Have, or Must Have, penis racing stripe!

Hey Cyndiann

This penis stripes poll is askewed or not very straight!

I voted NO on all ten.

#7 says 100% of the 7 poll voters voted YES

re: My stripe is less than .25" wide

Here is the real skinny: [Posted on this topic]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ridge or closure of the penile skin is known as the:

raphe
The "seam" up the underside of the penis (actually running all the way from the anus to the urinary meatus), where the urethra closed up before birth.

lighten up people, its just a silly fun poll. no need to get all twisted up. i did not know i had a slight darkened skin on the underside of my shaft, i find it interesting to learn new things about my body. not that i will be checking every male that i meet, but i never knew i had a darkening of the skin there. question #7 should be revised....

I'm with Florida-david. This is not about some kind of stripe-phobia, rather how well do you really know your anatomy. Also, like David I never notived it either.

Shortly after we became a couple, I encouraged Mary to explore every square inch of me, and she never noticed it until now.

hey thats neat i never noticed before either; ya learn somethin new everyday!

My penis is also darker skinned on the lower half and light skinned (which is normal color for me) on the upper half. What is that called?
