Here is something you do not see everyday.

That is a Whale swimming in the Thames River outside Parliament in London, in the picture below.

Emergency efforts to save the Whale and send it back to the sea are underway in the hopes it will not be stranded with the changing tide.

It's a pilot whale. They are gonna take away his license.

yes - saw that on the evening news. hope they steer it in the right direction.

I suppose it was shown all over the world. Problem is that it has not Brittish nationality, Green Card or Visa and it must be returned by coast guard out of territory.

The rescue effort failed and the whale died during the rescue.

I'm too damned sentimental, I hated to hear it died, but it kinda makes you wonder, why it came in out of his territories to die? did he want to raise awareness about the filthy oceans he was forced to live in? Did he want to see the big city before he died?
