Sorry Boreas I got to vote for her being a Blonde, the cartoon reminds me of my best friend who happens to be a natural blonde and the space for rent sign hanging inside her head is falling off its hooks from the excessive air in there, just rusting off the hooks I tell you.
Well, I happen to be a blonde. I also find blonde jokes offensive. I don't see them as being any more appropriate than racial jokes.
Sorry, I have a good sense of humour generally, just not for blonde jokes.

Given that she was at a Laundramat, maybe she is a "bleached" blonde ?
Seriously though, the old saying goes "Blondes have more fun".
Now, we have "dumb blonde" jokes.
Can we infer that a blonde can't be both fun loving and bright?
Still Boreas, if the inference is true- I would say that you are the exception.

And why would she be blond? Are blonds more stupid than the norm. Or is it just people who think blond jokes are funny?
Sorry, I am on a mission to stamp out blond jokes.[/QUOTE]
Are we a little sensitive about our hair color??
As for the blond comment, it goes to being a YES I'M SAYING IT blond joke!! I had a bond PA tell me a blond joke so not all feel the same way you do, sorry.

I am not sensitive about my hair colour at all. Why should I be?
So, I take it you would feel comfortable telling racial jokes in this forum, or anywhere? If not, what is the difference? Please tell me.

Perhaps I will have to come up with a response to blonde jokes. I used to get the line "Tell me, do blondes really have more fun?" as if the person saying it was original. My response was "I don't know, I've never been brunette to compare". My favourite was when my 6'8" tall friend sidled up to me and said the line. I suggested that the line had the same impact on me as "How is the weather up there" for him. He said touche!
I guess I have a major problem with people categorizing other people and suggesting that a whole group of people has a particular characteristic. I have been known to pick on people for other similar statements, like "All Natives are....." or whatever.
