              Until they return 'WITH KIDS'

Seriously, I am thankful for my immediate family and those who do not live with us. I am thankful for my wife (hw), who puts up with me, as well as other family members and friends who do the same.

I am also thankful for the extended family members on this site. Who would've thought I would be associated with a bunch of 'naked' people? Being a fairly 'new' nudist, I have realized how much this has changed my life, to the better.

Indeed. I agree with OZJames too. I am very glad to still be alive. I am also thankful that I am in a good situation income-wise. I spent a few years with a very slim income. Now I have a steady income that is not large, but enough so I do not have to worry. My only really bad thing is that this is the first time in many years without a cat companion. My last cat died in September at age 20. I will get a couple more, but not just yet.

                      Liam,

Sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. 20 years is a long time and I have been in the situation that you presently are in. It's a tough time for you now. What I did when I was ready was go to the ASPCA and adopt a couple of cats to save their lives. I am sure that you will eventually do the same. Good luck!

Don't wait, Liam, get one now! Cats are so soothing and therapeutic. Many years ago, when our cat died, my wife vowed always to have successors lined up! So we now have 3 cats aged 14, 5 and 1. Only problem is that I like any new cat to be a different colour from ones we've had, and we're starting to run out of colour choices!

Liam, my cat Molly died at age 20 a couple of years ago and while we each grieve in our own fashion, I do want you to know that I understand and feel great sympathy for you.

We rescued Molly when a neighbor moved off and abandoned her and she fit in well with our other cats. I liked her fine, but, there was no particular link.

Then, I was overtaken by some sort of horrible middle east virus, that nearly killed me and had me bed ridden for five-weeks.

Molly moved in with me and stayed by my side for the entire period, leaving only to eat, drink and use the litter box. She became my personal cat and constant companion--she adopted me, instead of the other way. She was a true little Jellicoe cat.

Even when we got a dog to protect her and the other cats from coyotes and that dog and I became soulmates, Molly adopted the dog without a blink and continued to hang with us.

Molly died in my arms at 2:00 am in the morning after ahving her for 20 years. So, I do know how much it hurts and am sorry you're going to be alone this year.

Some people don't understand, I guess. But, there is still a Molly-shaped hole in my heart.

My dog, died in an accident in May, and I may never completely recover.

But, we still have several cats and a Missouri Squirrel Dog, and I have another personal cat.

Too bad we're not closer, we just rescued from under the barn, a gorgeous little six-month old, ginger and white manx cat--who needs a loving home. She's a sweetie, true lap cat. We've had her nuetered and all shots--but, the problem is, that we're already probably about one kitty over the eccentricic cat-lady line or we'd keep her--Annie.

Do you know about Rainbow Bridge? It provides a small bit of comfort.

Sanslines, Tiger and USMC1 Thank you all for your kind words. I don't think it will be too long before I go down to the animal shelter and get a couple more cats.

I am very partial to calicos and all my recent cats have been calicos. I really miss having fuzzy faces around! I really appreciate being lulled to sleep with purrs.

I do know the Rainbow Bridge. I usually send it to friends who have lost a furry friend.

                              Thanks again everyone!
