Is this forum's server very slow to respond?

I frequently have trouble connecting to this web site. Either I can't connect at all or it takes a very long time to find the server. Last night I did a Whois data base search, and it said there was no such web site, which is obviously wrong.
Anybody else have trouble, or should I call my ISP and see if the problem is at my end?
