  • World Series/Sports in General

The World Series this year features two teams from the Midwest. As always, most sportwriters immediately labeled this a "dull" World Series, mainly because it's St. Louis/Detroit. It seems to me that with every sport, sportwriters don't get excited about the championship unless it features teams from New York or the West coast. Do you in other areas of the country ever feel the same way?

      You are right,Steve.

We have the same situation in Canada, involving Toronto.

We have a TV station in Canada with the initials TSN.
The initials TSN stand for The Sports Network.
However, many Canadians believe the initials,TSN, really stand for the Toronto Sports Network.
Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Argos, Raptors-way too much coverage,in my opinion.
