Wow garbo, I totally envy you! LOL! 80 degrees on Christmas Day? I used to live in Central Florida when I was a little kid from 1969 to 1971. With my late father in the Air Force and stationed at either Patrick A.F.B. or Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, we lived in a city called Satellite Beach,Florida. If you know Central Florida, it is located in an area known as Florida's space coast. Even though I was 4,5 and 6 years old, I loved living there! We were literally walking distance from the actual beach itself when we lived in the old base housing units. The only things we really had to get used to were the humidity, mosquitoes, and the almost daily thunderstorms during the summer months. We saw a couple of rocket launches from Cape Kennedy during the historic Apollo space program. So what resort are you referring to? Is it Cypress Cove by chance? I had the opportunity to visit them during the summers of 2000 and 2009 when I went there on vacation. Central Florida is one of my absolute favorite summer vacation sites as you probably tell! The only thing that sucked about when we lived there is nobody in my family was a nudist! So we obviously didn't frequent or visit any nudist resorts, clubs or beaches. Well, that's what happens when you are raised in a very strict religious and christian household if I may say so! I also like that the AANR headquarters is located in Kissimmee,Florida, like an hour away from Satellite Beach.
