  • Hurricane Matthew

Hello everyone. Well, as many of you know, the eastern coast is getting lashed by yet another hurricane, this was dubbed Matthew. Right now I just heard it is moving north up the coast towards Georgia and The Carolinas. Regarding Central Florida, specifically the space coast, they reportedly got hammered quite hard. There were even mandatory evacuations from the area. I am wishing that any of you who live in that area will be come through this OK and with minimum loss or damage to property and with no loss of life. I received an e-mail notification that the AANR office in Kissimmee,Florida will be closed for a while due to this storm. Once again, I wish you all the very best of luck. This applies to all those located in the state of Georgia and The Carolinas. If I may say so, May God be with you all!

I lost power for a couple of days. Luckily, I had a leaning, rotten tree cut down a couple of weeks earlier.

That's great news Kouak! I am sorry I am just now replying to this. Once again, my computer has been besieged with some operational problems. But everything seems to have been sorted out. Well, I am sorry to hear you lost power for those two days. I hope you didn't lose any food from either the fridge or the freezer. Like you said, it's a good thing you got rid of that tree. That could have caused you some serious damage to your property if it had fallen. Anyway, I am glad you are OK.
