Memorial Day

Hello everyone.As we approach the Memorial Day holiday, let us reflect on the fallen service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defending our country and preserving our freedom. This is really what the holiday is all about despite the fact that many of us will be attending barbecues and/or making trips to beaches. Enjoy the day!

Just finished a Memorial Day program.

Flying my flag today in honor of my friend 1LT. James F. Wohrer USAF. 04/05/1944-07/26/1969, Phouc Tuy, Vietnam. Panel 20W, Line 53.

We mixed today with Honor and Remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice, with a celebration of our youngest grandson's 8 Bday. Though we had a nice time with family, a pool party and pizza and cake and ice cream, I ensured that they all knew that this day off of work and family time was also because of those service men and women that died in wars to keep us and others that we fight for, free to enjoy the lives we live.

We did enjoy our day together as a family.
