Have you ever been sprayed by a skunk? Or know someone who got skunked? What happened? How bad was that stink? nd what'd you do to manage the smell?

Yeah. Me. Way back in 1990.
My daughter was 13. She had a beau who was interested in her, and, one night my wife and I went out somewhere. We had an old hippie van, with which we could coast from a nearby hill into our driveway.
SO.... I thought... if he's in the house, I'll catch him, they won't even hear the car. So I coasted into our driveway and quietly got out, walked around the back of the house - which would have been his escape route. No boyfriend.
I then walk by the side of my house, hear some ruffling of leaves, and....
THE #$^&# SKUNK GOT ME.
Since it was around 10 pm, I completely disrobed on the front porch and ran into the shower. We had a bottle of V8 and if I recall correctly it killed the odor - BUT - my clothes were ruined, my wallet and car keys stank... I think I replaced the wallet but had to soak my car keys in V-8 or tomato juice.
You know what I learned from that, Nudewriter? I'll tell you what.

Lol, I bet your wife and daughter were thrilled you were skunked! I'm surprised a single bottle of V8 was enough to get the stink off you.Comment
