• Still looking for local contacts

I am hoping to make some contacts in the Dublin (Ireland) area - company and hopefully fun on warm spring/summer days - at the beach, in the mountains or indoors if the weather lets us down... Any takers?

Try putting your location in the subject line so people see it without reading your post.

It will also allow people like me who aren't local to you to skip reading this.

Well Cyndiann,

He is posting on the international board. So that should be at least one indication that he is nowhere close to anyone in the US. If he were in the US I am sure he would be posting in the US board. Also not everyone will do things to your convenience. If they do not post where they are at in the subject and/or the message it self then simply skip the message and stop whining about it. If you really want to help the person then just kindly ask them where they are at and leave it at that.

Sincerely,
LeoNJ

The Romans didn't call Ireland "Hibernia" for nothing. This Roman moniker meant the land of perpetual winter. It's a bleak land of soggy fields, gale force winds, gray skies, constant year-round soaking rain and bone-chilling endless damp cold.

Shivering nude on a windswept moor, crouching low over a smoky peat fire while the frigid July rains pour down your bare back. That's what Irish nudists have to look forward to outdoors.

Maybe that's why he has no takers.

How little our American friends appear to know about Ireland. Don't know about the Dublin area but here in the 'frozen north' its been glorious for the last three weeks. Yes even warm enough for a few outings. Keep the faith.

Perhaps you Irish fellows can confirm for me something I heard years ago... that Ireland is the richest country in the world, because its capital is always Dublin.

True?
