Advertised by Eurocamp as having a "naturist section close by" Le Serignan Plage exceeded all my expectations.
The complex actually contains two sites, the ordinary textile site as served by Thompsons Al-Fresco and Eurocamp and Serignan Nature, a naturist site.
The official naturist beach is accessed directly from the naturist site but the boundary is only a few steps from the textile site. And I was pleased to see it was almost 100% nude. Better than the beach was the outdoor spa area (Balneo) which from 9 until 12 every morning was compulsory naturist and could be accessed directly from both sites. There was also a costume compulsory session in the afternoons and both sessions were over 16's only thus providing a haven of peace and tranquillity.
We soon realised that if at the end of the morning's session we left via the naturist door we could get straight on the beach without having to get dressed. I'm not sure we were supposed to do this but no one seemed to mind. All the facilities, apart from one small shop, seemed to be on the textile side anyway and I knew they were shared by customers of both sites. Having located the naturist list of activities we also joined in with the Aquagym, in the spa area, and the wake-up exercises on the beach. And had I been more athletically inclined I could have joined in with the Volleyball too.
I whole-heartedly recommend the site to anyone wanting to try out naturism in a safe, family oriented environment and kudos to Eurocamp to mentioning the nudist beach in their brochure (Thompsons don't as far as I can see).
I'm campaigning to stay on the naturist side next time, I did spend two days wearing nothing more than a towel just to see if I could but I'd rather be naked.
I've posted some early morning photos but you'll have to imagine all the happy naturist families.
Enjoy.
