According to the Bar-S Ranch website < http://www.bar-s-ranch.com/modules/e...t.php?event=27 >, Saturday, August 11 is the date for "The first annual 'Bare Hare' clothing optional Triathlon - Sprint. Come swim, bike and run our grueling course and go home a champion. Gate open for participants at 7:00 AM. Registration and packet pickup for runners is from 7:00am to 8:30am. Race begins at 9:00am."
Bar-S Ranch is located in Reidsville, North Carolina. Bar-S Ranch has a fantastic trail network. I expect that the course will be better suited to mountain bikes rather than the time trial road bikes usually seen in triathlons. I understand that the swimming portion of the event will be in the pond. Watch out for snapping turtles! Further information can be found at the following link:
