  • White Tail Park is gone!!

From the WTP online newsletter dated May 18, 2006:

"WHITE TAIL PARK NOW WHITE TAIL RESORT
Effective immediately, the name of White Tail Park has been
changed to White Tail Resort. A marketing study indicates
the change of name will reflect the positive new
enhancements of our facilities over recent years."

      Jason Lee,

The name has changed, but it will take some time to get the web page, phone pages, business card, forms, applications, rules and all the paper work to the new name. This does not happen overnight!

Hope my membership carries over to the new 'resort'!
Sounds like a good idea as most people would rather go to a resort, than a park. At least, that's what they look up when going on vacation.

The word "nudist" should be included in the name White Tail.

Also, "naturist", "nekkidist", "Free Body Culture", "Au Naturale", and "Skinny Dippers".

          OK?

          Gonna need bigger business cards.

i think the owner/operator should be commended. he must have seen the need for the change. he has made it what it is today.

I was there early in the morning one day many years ago and helped put up the fence around the in-ground pool. I remember the feeling of being awake early in the morning when a touch of dew was still in the air, and I thought maybe I was under-dressed for the occasion. Bob Roche, or maybe another member, was driving the tractor that was going to tension the chain link fence so we could secure it. I think they got the fencing somewhere as "used fencing" and remember never having heard of used fencing before. Bieing a new nudist I wasn't sure if maybe I should have more clothes on for a slightly risk physical task like fence tensioning, but after the first set-up positionings were done others began showing up to help (or advise) who were as nude as I.

Even though the morning started off with voluntary work, I still remember it as being a great time!

If it does, prepare to spend more money for a Resort membership than you did for a park membership. Resorts just sound more up-scale, so the fees will probably reflect it.
