While I'm hopeful a solution can be reached regarding Mazo Beach I know it's good to plan for alternatives. Aside from the secluded location on the Eau Claire River are there other great natural watering holes in Wisconsin where people can enjoy nature in natural outfits without risking trouble?

You might want to link up with the Badger Naturists, to see if they've planned anything =

badgernaturists.org is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, badgernaturists.org has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

Also the Friends of Mazo Beach (Google 'em)

If organized clubs are your thing you might try Valley View =

A small, rustic nudist club (not clothing-optional) near Cambridge, WI. Office open 8am - 7pm Friday, 8am - 5pm all other days.

More sites, clubs to be found at the aanr.com site (Places to Go) and the Naturist Society website http://www.naturistsociety.com/tns/r...352Network.pdf

And I didn't even list AANR conventions and TNS gatherings which may be near you.

There is a place near Hartford, Wi called Totally Natural Garden that is clothing optional. They're a working organic farm and have a pond. I plan to get over there at some point and check it out. they have a website.

Thank you dakref. I did come across their website. It seems like an interesting place and closer to me than Mazo Beach and I might go there this summer, but overall I'm looking for some natural wilderness.

Has anyone gone to Nicolet National Park in northern Wisconsin? Is it secluded enough that an individual or a small group could go nude for an extended period of time without any trouble? What about locations along the Great Lakes, the Mississippi River, or Lake Winnebago?

Also, usuallylurk, thank you for the links. The Naturist Society pdf was particularly helpful.
