I was sorry to see that Red, White, and Blue Beach just north of Santa Cruz, California is up for sale. This is the first nudist destination to which I had taken my wife. I had an opportunity to visit it during a business trip last summer. If I had known that its future was in doubt, I would have bought an airplane ticket for my wife so that she could have visited it with me one last time.

RWB Beach was the second nude beach I had taken my wife to and the second place she had experienced public/social nudism.
Although it was a little cool, we found shelter in one of the "condos" and were able to enjoy the day nude. Only one other woman there that day but we had a good time and looked forward to a return trip during better weather days.
We too are saddened that the property is for sale and it's C/O fate is up in the air. Too bad, great naturist beach.Comment

Actually, you are correct. The "beach" is state property but the land adjacent, up to the state owned property is privately owned.
Unknown what the sale price is but the owners are a man named Ralph Edwards and his wife Kathleen. He's in his early 80's and has had enough of maintaining the property.
Wish I had the money!

I'm sadden to hear about it being for sale. A couple buddys of mine have told me they surfed there once and were talking about possibly going up there again.Comment

Fortunately, there are several other unofficial and semi-official nude beaches in Santa Cruz County:

Bonny Doon is probably the best. Unfortunately, Bonny Doon may soon become a state beach, which might result in restrictions on nude use. The advantage of Red, White, and Blue was that access was controlled, which kept out the gawkers. I could take my wife there without worrying that gawkers would cause her to be uncomfortable.Comment

So I went by RWB this past week and talked to the owner, he has closed down for good and is selling the land.Also he will not let anyone pass through to get to the beach.Comment

thats to bad becuase my fieance came to me and said she ready to try going nude
so if any if you with money to spear i think that would be a good investment
