Alba's Glory
Ravens sake their lust
upon the fallen Poets.
Naked they stood
against the finest of Rome.
Hewn and hawed
were the woad and chert.
Scores to sleep
evermore in the loam.
The Glen ran ruddy
with the flower of Alba
yet the eagle fell to earth,
as the legions are for home.

The above is the introduction to my second collection of poetry entitled Crickets In A Small Town which should be published sometime in 2006 to join my first collection Through Different Eyes published in 2004.
Hopefully the second book will be as successful as the first.
