What about a section for naturist careers?
When naturist resorts, clothes-optional clubs etc. need new personnel, how do they go about it? This site could introduce a central NATURIST JOBS BOARD (think "nude monster") where such resorts could post ads and find suitable recruits.
OK, I realize there's not going to be a flood of naturist jobs saving the economy, but why not try? Places like Pasco County and Palm Springs could use such a service, couldn't they?
Would such a jobs board also not bring in extra ad revenue for the site?

I would go for that in a heart beat.

A job while being nude? In my mind that would be like getting paid 40Gs' a year just to play video games or watching T.V.

Being retired it has been my dream to live and work part-time in a nudist resort--preferably in a much warmer climate than Michigan.

However, since my house isn't selling and has been on the market for nearly 7 months, I guess that is JUST a dream.

Maybe it is time to change real estate agents and give the next agent only a short time, say 3 months, to sell your house so that he/she will work really diligently??????????????

While I could be wrong, I don't think it's the fault of the agent. The first buyer backed out after borrowing the money to buy it. I have two things against me in trying to sell. 1: I have two mortgages on my house so that I have to have enough to pay off both of them. 2: My house has no "curb appeal" due to very old, worn-out, obsolete siding. People drive by and see it and keep on driving. I also need to have some work done inside. I don't have any money to do any of this.

According to Rocket's standards, I guess that makes me a "loser". The realtor has a friend who is willing to waive the 6 month waiting period you have to wait after taking a house off the market (at least here) so that I can refinance both mortgages into one. If I can do that I will try to get enough to do the minor work inside and have new siding put on. Then when I try to sell it, I will have a better chance. Maybe I would have to pay some penalty fee for selling so soon after refinancing, but so be it.

There is a sale pending on my house at this time, but there are complications. 1: The potential buyer has no money for a down payment. 2: He has a number of different homes he's trying to buy as a package, so he's trying for a very large loan. 3: It looks as though he won't be getting his loan, and the realtor and I have given up on him because he's gone way past the final cut-off date, although I'm willing to wait longer if I thought he had a chance of getting his loan. He wants my house and the others he's trying to buy, but I think he's bitten off more than he can chew. Had he tried to buy my house separately, it might have been paid for by now.

I haven't given up my dream of living in a nudist resort. I've just postponed it.

We had our house for sale in Baton Rouge with 2 different realtors. Finally sold it on our own.

Now that I'm retired, I work nude. Neighbors don't seem to mind around here.

When a house doesn't sell it is rarely the fault of the agent. If his house wasn't kept updated and in good condition he can't blame anyone for not wanting to buy it but his own self.

His agent gave him good advise.... consolidate the loans and take some of that to give the house curb appeal.

The problem being it sounds as if he owes as much as it is worth and it might be rough breaking even on it. A house is only worth a certain amount, especially one that needs work and it's value isn't related at all to what he owes on it.

working nude?
where i work that would be a plus! temps soar in the summer and even though its cooling down and there is no heat its still hot.
john-marc did agent suggest any of the following--
flowers, bushes, just a touch up of paint something along those lines?
many people want to change a house to their
liking so don't go overbroad, but you sound like me. no money. i want to sell out and go to the
carolina's but think it will be five years yet.
i need to wait till things fall apart and interest rates go up, so my mortage looks good, and it will, it always does. if i had known things would stay good for so long i would have looked aroumd more but with three childern and a new wife at the time ---.
well, now with childern grown for most part, and no companion,i look forward to travel again.

Flowers and bushes wouldn't help the looks of the house any. Years ago the house was appraised at $10,000 more than I'm now asking, and I've done a lot of work on the inside since then but not the outside. I built a walk-in closet for one bedroom and doubled the size of the other one. I installed three ceiling fans. I paneled the living room and put a beautiful mural on one wall of the living room. I've painted inside and out, put down new tile and carpet. I live indoors not outdoors, and I've never been concerned about how it looked on the outside until now when I'm trying to sell it.

I don't know the first thing about putting on siding and would have to hire it done, and the cost of labor is outrageous.

"Jobs in the Nude" - in China.

A local couple took a boat tour on the Yangtze River in China this summer. They wrote a report of it, published in the local newspaper.

Around the Wu Gorge they took a smaller boat for a short ride to the Shennong Stream. Their guide explained to them that men have pulled long boats through these shallow waters for centuries. Now these small thin men pull tourists and sing as they tug at the thick ropes, clamboring up and down the shore, sometimes walking in the water.

In this hot climite, they worked in the nude until about ten years ago and they still shed their clothes for the six mile walk home in the heat.

I'd love to see some ads on nudist jobs. I am just a few years from retirement and am looking to work part time at a resort in anyway I can help out.
