• Inappropriate Behavior in the Forum

Dear Bartamus, Corky and INA Staff Member's:

In the past few days we have seen some very childish and inappropriate discussion about erections and the like. I do not think it is in the best interest of the Forum or INA to allow an individual to roam through all the topics to discuss sexual experiences whether true or fantasized. Nude Master and others who persist in vulgarity should not be permitted access to the Forum.
I do not believe in censorship and I clearly support our first amendment right to free speech, but my concern is for new members who are taking their first steps into good, wholesome, nudism and the impact such comments make on us as a whole.
Secondly, as a Christian man, I feel such behavior to be out of bounds and not appropriate for the Forum and its membership.
I know who my critiques are on this subject and I am sorry if I have ruffled any feathers, but I felt I could be silent no longer on this matter. Respectfully,

I agree that some things could be left unsaid, but as for Nude Master, he's only 12-years-old and has probably just recently reached puberty. Erections are a new experience to him. Other than his mention of erections, I haven't seen anything he's said that as bad as what some others have have--like telling about sexual experiences which we don't need here.

Snoboy,
I did delete a few of his posts that seemed like sexual fantasies and will monitor him closely so it won't get out of hand. Thanks!!

Corky -

Thanks for timely action. There's no way he's twelve, nor is he a naturist.

Corky, thank you for taking prompt action on Nude Master's graphic posts. I am certainly not a prude and have a good, healthy sense of humor, but this was getting out of control. This is a classic example of why I support INA. The staff members truly care about the image of the organization as well as the concerns of its members. I wish that I could give you another 5 Stars. Your the best.

Apparently I missed a lot of whatever Nude Master was posting since I generally skip posts about erections and the penis and a few other things. I didn't realize that he was being so innapropriate, so I apologize for defending him when he claimed to be only 12-years-old.

Either he is boy who is infatuated with the penis, or a man posing as a boy who is infatuated with the penis.

Kudos to Jon-Marc. I take my hat off to you...well, actually I have nothing on at the present time, but if I did have my hat on, I would take it off to you. I love that you seek the goodness in people.

Thanks, Snoboy,

I tend to be too trusting I guess and tend to believe what people say by giving them the benefit of the doubt until I learn that I've been a fool again and trusted the wrong person.

Jon-Marc, you can never be made a fool of because you are a caring, sensitive man, who strives to see the good in people...and trust me, for most that is a difficult task. People who genuinely care for others do get kicked in the seat of the pants from time to time, but, people like yourself, just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and continue to seek the goodness in people and man, you have my sincere thanks for being one of the "good guy's." A few years ago my wife and I went through a career counseling program together. The testing showed that I trust people to the degree of "almost being naive." My response was that I have chosen to be a person who is relatively easy to fool once (not twice!), and that I prefer to be considered naive in relationships rather than cynical.

The world has a fully adequate supply of cynics. It doesn't need us to be in that category.

Thank you, Snoboy, for the kind words. Like Luvnaturism, I allow people to prove themselves first before "judging" them. By "judging" I mean deciding what kind of person they are by their behavior. The true person will always come out no matter how much we try to pretend. Unlike nudist clubs and resorts that pre-judge because of one's marital status, I find out what the person is like before making a judgement of any kind. I learned many years ago that I am usually wrong if I judge someone without getting to know them first.

I will apologize in advance for injecting a small amount of religion in here since so many people here seem to be offended by it, but the Bible says not to judge people. It does say, however, that by their "fruits" we shall know them. That means we are not to pre-judge people, but we will know what they are like by their behavior.

Jon-Marc, your quote from the Bible is so true. We must always strive to exercise wisdom in all that we say and do. I am far from perfect, but I am in college being trained to be a counselor in human services and with God's help, a professor, as well, and I have learned that I must take one day at a time and strive to help others, help themselves. So much for my soapbox. In striving to help others, I am helping myself grow, as well. Love ya, man.

snoboy,

There is so much of this "Me first" attitude these days that it's good to find someone who wants to not only help others, but who wants to teach them how to help themselves. People don't need a "hand-out"; they need a "hand-up".
