  • automatic notice

I have found that I post in several topics, but then due to my advanced age (57), I can't easily find the topic to see what responses have come in. Is there some way that CFF can set up an automatic notice to posters when a response/ update has been posted in a specific topic? I have seen this capability on other web sites but do not know if CFF can do it.

Yes, you can arrange that. Click on "Profile", then in the left-hand column click on "Notifications". In the second section, "Forums", click on "Edit". A pop-up box appears - check the box alongside "Immediate Notification by email". You'll then get an email when anyone replies to your posts.

tiger79 - You are so damn smart and computer literate that I fear meeting you. When you see us at Sorobon I am 6 foot 8 and and my wife is 6 foot 7 and we both weigh over 300 pounds.

I'm not really computer literate, Mr Nuts, it's just that I waste too much time on the thing! Glad to hear you've put some weight on in Maui, maybe you'll update your avatar...

Wow! I bet 6 foot 8 requires a whole lot of Fuzzy to cover those...

There may be and I just don't have it set up right, but how can we be notified of new Private messages, without going to check, by going to my profile, then to private messages?

A pop-up box appears - check the box alongside "Immediate Notification by email" and the box to its right which says "Include replies". You'll then get an email when anyone sends you a private message or replies to one of yours.
