        What a waste...Yet another site you have to actually PAY to use to its full extent.

        And you wonder why there aren't many young adult nudist.

        I guarantee you that there will not be many young people signing up for this website.

            Reply to Thread - NudistClubhouse.com - Social Networking

            vBulletin which powers this CFF site has Social networking plug In's, but I looks as if this new social networking or friends site is not running under vBulletin.

            When Corey was at CFI he started a nudist group on MySpace which didn't last long and was quietly done away with.

            Who actually is NudistClubhouse Inc. and whats the CFI/CFF connection?

            Seems strange to more or less be farming out CFI/CFF nudist members to a pay social networking/friendship/dating site unless its directly owned, financed, and operated by CFI/CFF.

            I notice todays POD picture of the day is Nudes in the News anchor Brian promoting the new site. Brian also started "naturally California" a non landed San Diego area nudist club and promotes a AANR singlenudist another nudist dating pay site.

            With paid memberships, and paid advertising this should be a profitable operation & full featured site with many options for nudists who want to carry on long distance nudist friendships/pen pals, and self programed unique profiles not unlike the "M-Space. I took a quick look and noticed one guy sporting a semi-erection in his one picture allowed basic profile.

            Nudist dating paid sites seem a dime a dozen with many being not up and up family nude recreation approved or affiliated sites as these supposedly are:

            TNS singlenaturist
            AANR singlenudist
            CFI clothesfreesingles

                NakedGary, you are making perfect sense to me, how else would it ever function. So I am glad you put it in them terms NakedGary and in return just putting that issue to rest, beside Brian made a very good point that "MySpace" and other websites like it have a very strict policy towards the posting of nude pictures (of yourself or others). This new website can give us (naturist) a chance to express ourselves in a positive and enlighten new way, other then being censer.

                As far as what my father use to tell me, “There are NO free handouts in the free world”! How do I signup?

                  NudistClubhouse.com

                  Wow! I didn't know that you guys were such the detectives. WhoIs information and everything!

                  Let me see if I can answer your questions.

                  1. I am the owner of NudistClubhouse.com. I am also the owner of SingleNudist.com, SingleNaturist.com and ClothesFreeSingles.com. I am also the owner of Naturally California, which unfortunately, is closing. I also represent you on the board of directors of the western region of the American Association for Nude Recreation.

                  2. The connection to CFI/CFF? As you know, I am a nudescaster for Nudes in the News. Corky and I have been working very closely together over the past year, and out of the kindness of his heart, he is helping to promote my new venture. I can't even begin to thank him, and I want to let him know publicly how much I value our business relationship and our friendship.

                  3. We charge for access? Yes and no. Your basic profile is FREE. You only have to pay if you want access to the premium services. You see, the larger "space" company is supported by large corporate sponsors who have yet to enter the nudist arena. Without those sponsors, we have to find another way to finance the operation. The good news is that the premium features are only $5.99 per month. Go ahead and try to find other websites that charge so little, but help nude recreation so much. I can't do it without your help and support, and I want to be here to promote nude recreation and nude living for a long time into the future.

                  4. Someone mentioned an inappropriate photo. I have no idea which photo you are referencing, but I do take wholesome family nude recreation very seriously. There is a "report" button on every single profile. When you see something that you feel does not fit the standard, PLEASE report it. It will then be evaluated and dealt with.

                  If you have any further questions, I'm more than happy to answer. Otherwise, please check out the new site, and sign up!

                  --Brian

                    Even though it officially launched today, I have been watching Nudist Clubhouse for quite some time now. While it is true that nudist sites are a “dime a dozen”, there are a few that stand out from the crowd. Clothes Free being one, and now Nudist Clubhouse being another.

                    As to the “commercial” side of these sites, as Brian stated, major corporations in this country feel that it is not in their best interest to be associated with nudist organizations. They feel that it would not be politically correct. This is most unfortunate because they are missing out on a huge demographic. But we, as nudists are partly to blame. We do not do enough to promote “nudist owned” businesses. If we did, then the corporate world would take notice and start targeting our market. This is already in the works to a small degree. Have you seen the WaMu commercial where the bankers are nude?

                    No young adult nudist on Nudist Clubhouse? You may wish to take a closer look. I saw quite a few members in the 18 - 29 age group male and female. Actually, I see more on Nudist Clubhouse than I do on most of the other sites that have been around a long time. And the list is growing by the day if not by the hour.

                    There are some websites out there that claim to be nudist sites but are actually just porn sites in disguise. True nudist sites are run by nudists, about nudists, for nudists. They are all positive influences for the lifestyle we have chosen. So why not show them our support? It is just my humble opinion, but I think Corky with Clothes Free, and Brian with Nudist Clubhouse have both done an outstanding job.

                      Looking good!

                      Hey Brian, I just checked out the 'clubhouse and it looks cool. I joined and filled out my initial profile. We'll see how things go, I may upgrade to a premium, if nothing else, just to support a good cause. Keep up the good work... and stay naked!

                        I don't know about the rest of you but I've never considered dating to be a family activity. At times it is hardly an activity suitable for adults. So I'm really wondering why such sites would need to be approved of as "family nude recreation sites".

                        In my mind such sites should be categorized simply as adult social sites. I just don't see how finding a mate really fits into the idea of a family naturist activity. Dating isn't a family activity and for the most part people don't want their families involved in that stress.

                          Brian, IMHO, the best thing you can and continue to do is explain about your new website. Many of us have been burned or been disappointed by bogus nudist sites, and new ones are always suspect. Corky is a valuable ally, as CFI has stayed naturist without succumbing to the obvious sexual interests of so many other nudist sites.

                          Keep updating us on NudistClubHouse.com and answer all questions. From what I have seen, you're off to a great start.

                            Past Concerns

                            Well, I've been wary of Brian ever since 30-Oct-2006.

                            After he became the AANR Singles Co-Chair in 2006, he shut down the free, and active, AANR TSNN (The Single Nudist Network) Yahoo! Group by posting a message:

                            ~~~
                            "The TSNN Yahoo Group will be closing.
                            To meet other Single Nudists, please visit http://www.SingleNudist.com/"
                            ~~~

                            It seemed a bit of a conflict of interest to close the free AANR Yahoo! Group with a message promoting one of his own fee-based web sites.

                            Take Care & Be A Bare,
                            David

                              David,

                              That decision was made in conjunction with AANR President John Kinman, who at the same time, eliminated the Singles and WINR committees. This was an AANR decision, that I don't feel totally qualified to discuss in depth here. The basics were rolling both singles and WINR into marketing, rather than separating the groups. The plug for SingleNudist.com was to provide an alternative, instead of going away without any options at all.
