    I agree with you David. The scrotom contracts and expands as needed to keep the testicles at the right temp. Your testicles would not change much not any more that your fingers would in hot and cold anyway.

      Have to agree with David. In an attempt to regulate temperature, the testicles move up tight against the body in cooler temperatures, and hang lower, farther away from the body in warmer temperatures. If the testicles were hanging far enough away from the body to fall between the slats of the chair, surely it must have been due to the ambient warmth, rather than the cold. Certainly no medical expert here, but have often noticed the very obvious difference when hiking nude at various times (and temperatures) of the year. If you go nude around the house and keep the temperature comfortably warm, you will be used to the testicles hanging quite low away from the body, but step out onto the deck in cooler weather (or jump in the pool), and the testicles immediately pull up against the body. It is the scrotum that contracts; the size of the testicles doesn't vary.
