• where do you keep stuff like keys since there no pockets while nude

Since most of you don't have pockets while nude at the resort or nude beach where do you keep small stuff like keys and walet?

For me since I use a power wheelchair I have a like a flat bag that is attach to the side of my wheelchair so I keep everything in there, so ether nude or clothes I alway have my suff with me.

Good question Todd. I have seen on the net advertisments for ankle and/or wrist bands, probably Velcro taped, designed specially for keys, money etc. They look like they are nylon material so not effected by water when swimming.

I tried to buy one from The Naturist Society but their credit card purchase system did not work for me.

Can anyone recommend a good wrist ankle band for keys which can be purchased over the net from Australia ?

OZJames, go to www.wristpocket.com. The wristband is stretchy so their larger wrist pocket can be worn on the ankle. The Wrist Pocket can hold credit cards, coins, folded money, etc. as well.

You'll find a testimonial from me on their site commenting on use by nudists.

You can also buy a stretchy coiled plastic wristband at a lot of places (e.g. outdoor stores). It has a split ring to which you can attach keys. You can wear it on wrist or ankle.

Two other possibilities: a small storage pocket that attaches with velcro straps around shoelaces or sandal straps, or a hat that includes a pocket in the underside of the top (e.g. www.tilley.com).

In our hot summer climate, wrist pockets are sweat traps. I need something that will hold a single key, like those stretchy coiled phone lines.

When I go running, I have been wearing a key on a dogtag chain around my neck. When it gets really hot and I take my shirt off, the key bounces around too much. I think putting it on my wrist on a short coil would be the only way to prevent bounce.

I can't stand having something around my ankles when I run.

The woods around here are more thick with thieves than there are ticks on a coon dog's back.

When at a nudist resorts my husband and I have found that you can work out of your automobile and just keep a car key on the shoelace of your athletic shoe or on a small elastic around your wrist. This may not be practical if you go to a nude beach where theft from autos might be common. For more elaborate solutions, check out the lakecomoresort.com website, go to their merchandise page and see their square container and round container.

At our club, I wear an Aussie Campaign hat with a pocket sewn into the top. I can keep change, keys etc in there. Of course it still has to come off when I jump in the pool, but at the club it is not a problem. At a beach, you'd probably need a waterproof wrist or ankle band as you suggest.

I have a velcro wristband. A hip-pack would also work. I've even seen a baseball cap that has a pocket in it for keys and money!

Both at Kmart (BigK) and at Walmart they sell stretch coil plastic wrist bands as well as sell key chains which work well for me in and out of the water. I wear two coils together, so that if one breaks, the other would still hold my keys. I even wear these coils every day on my left wrist when I go out, as I find it handy. I choose the wild colored coils so that I can find them (see them) better. I bought some wild colored and shaped key chain madalions to also hang there to be able to locate it better when I want to go out wearing it.

If I need to carry money, comb, some sun screen, etc., I carry them in a regular travelers flesh colored money belt that has two zippered compartments. I consider that fanny packs are too large and more cumbersome than a money belt. I like the flesh color of the money belt as it blends with the body color and is not as "unsightly" as a fanny pack.

David, sounds like the coil wrist band is what I need. Last time I jumped in the pool with my daypack on, I took all kinds of flack. I told them that I was nude otherwise, but these folks obsess over their pool and there weren't no use in talkin' any further about it.

Is this really a photo of you, Oldman? I'm trying to imagine you wearing an Aussie campaign hat.

Maybe one of you really clever guys can show us what it would look like.

While I can't speak for all nudists, but around here around here nudes tend to be a very honest lot. While at the resort, I rsrely have any need to carry keys with me. I rarely if ever lock my trailer during the season and I never have to lock the car while on the grounds.(but I don't leave the keys in it) Over the course of several years, nothing has turned up missing or tampered with. Many years ago, at Mazo Beach, a nudist (not me) left his wallet out on his blanket...with a twenty dollar bill sticking slightly out. At the end of the day, the wallet was still there and so was the twenty. Untouched. I'd love to hear Stuwhats-his-number say that about ANY textile beach.
In the event I should need cash for a club event, I slip the cash in the side of my sneakers
