• Nudity at work?

Since I am still quite new to the nudist lifestyle, I haven't yet had the opportunity to attend a nude beach or club. I am however spending more and more time naked around the house.

Today I took another step and spent the whole day nude at work! Okay, let me explain - I run my own business from a home office, so it's not like I'm sitting naked amongst an office full of business people. I don't think the world is quite ready for that yet, let alone me!

Anyway, I'm finding the experience to be no different than doing household chores in the nude, but I did chuckle to myself a couple of times when speaking to clients on the phone. I found it amusing to think they had no idea they were doing business with a completely naked man! I'm sure the novelty will wear off, but I'll continue to work suit-free whenever possible/practical.

Are there any other small business owners out there who work in the buff?

I too work in a home office and often nude. However, as winter approaches I have to do the cost benefit analysis of heating fuel versus desire to be nude. I am afraid that the clothes will stay on until the warmth of the Spring returns.

Choosing to wear clothes in cold conditions is not only cost-efficient, it's environmentally responsible. No point in consuming precious energy to warm ourselves when we can simply put on a jacket. Whether we like it or not, clothes do have a practical purpose in the right circumstances. I'm sure no one would disagree with us on that. Thanks for your response Izzy.

Hi guys, sorry to hijack your post a bit 'cos it's not an answer to the question

I work in cement manufacture which by it's nature requires employees to shower before leaving work. This is done in a communal shower block, which has no partitions or the like. We spend 20-30 minutes a day stood around naked, chatting, joking and reflecting on the days work. We may as well be stood in a bar having a drink to unwind after work. There's never a trace of self consciousness.

The co-workers I have seen naked probably out number those that I have not. Seeing the people I work with naked is a part of daily life and done without second thought. Just thought it might give those who work in an office some food for thought

This sort of a mixed answer. In my "day" job I usually end up nude in a shower with co-workers at the end of the day, but that is not really working nude. In my other career as a photographer I will often shoot still life and product work nude, if I am shooting nudes I prefer to be nude, but for portrait work clothes are mostly required unless I am shooting a friend. When I am doing digital work on the computer I am almost always nude. Unfortunatly when I am seeing clients about a shoot I have to look professional, and that usually means a suit and tie, YUK! though photographers can often get away with a casual look. That is the way of the world I guess.
