Am brand new to the board. But wanted to bring up some points and see what you all thought.

Gay guys, it seems, are really frowned upon in the nudist world. One - single men at events are not usually welcome. Two - being gay makes people think you just want sex. Not true.

So, I keep it quiet and just practice it at home and take a trip to Haulover once in awhile. Not *****ing - life is good.

Have fun and stay naked. Rich.

i have no problem being with selective groups. i enjoy the company of all. i often go to nudist resorts/lodges alone as my wife does not support the lifestyle. i have had no problems. but too they can notice i'm wearing a wedding band. a friend that i met at a lodge goes along with me often and he is divorced. again, no problems. if you frequent a club or lodge/resort and they get to know you it will be less of an issue.

I really don't see the problems.

If I'm fully dressed, and I'm seen by another man who finds me attractive, he's going to think I'm attractive whether I keep walking by on the sidewalk or I'm one of his co-workers.

If he later sees me naked in the locker room, that's only going to serve to enhance or remove his desires or feelings towards my person. The only difference from the situation before is that I am now undressed as compared to being dressed.

If I am naked in your presence and you are seeing "everything" I have to offer, and you are attracted to me for whatever reason (and at my age, that's a compliment!), as long as you aren't overly aggressive and approaching me for sex or getting up in my face, it's not going to bother me.

My feelings - and when I say 'my' I am speaking as just a typical locker room goer and straight male - are that as long as you are not harrassing me or bothering me, you can look all you want. If you approach me for something more, and I am not interested because I do not share your sexual preference, I'm simply going to tell you that.

Now, whether that would mean I would continue to be or later be nude in your presence again? That's going to vary by individual, and I mean if a person was to try that scenario, they would find many different reactions.

The point is, clothed or unclothed, you are going to have more or less the same situations and attitudes. The only difference is a lack of clothes.

Good for you, NewandNude. Yours was a thoughtful post. The only thing I might suggest is that you say "sexual orientation" versus "preference" -- as similarly with straight guys, gay men have an orientation to sex, not necessarily a preference. It's simply the way the creator or the universe made all of us.

I very much echo what NewAndNude said there and as J/man said, thoughtful.
I can never see what difference it makes as to a persons sexual orientation, but the way so many people think is that just because a man is gay he will be latching onto any other male around, this is just not true. If I was to be admired, nude or not, by a woman or another man I'd be flattered, just as long as they (male or female) don't come on too strong.

Your thoughts are yours and private no matter what. Body language can be wrongfully intreperted though. As to social nudist events it is your behavior and words that need to be in line with that of the group and there should be no issue.

As a pilot I have flown with several gay pilots. They keep that to themselves while on the job and is business as usual always. Same goes for nudist events.

I have never had a problem being gay and nude. I have been to Haulover many times and there never was an issue. The same goes for other nude resorts or nude get togethers.

                Gay nude and happy.

                  Hi Folks,

I've never really had a problem regarding my orientation in any nude venue. Maybe because I'm bi rather than gay, maybe because I just do my thing let others figure how to handle it.

Be yourself, and let the chips fall where they may.
