  • The end of "slippers season"

It's 71 degrees and sunny here in Dallas, TX on February 2, so the warm slippers I have had to wear all winter to keep me and my feet a bit warmer while working nude at home have come off, probably for the season. Even though the slippers were comfy and warm, it still felt like I was 'wearing' something -- too much -- and so it's great to be fully nude all day again.

I just hope the warmth holds and I can keep the slippers off and work and live slipper-free (and texttile-free!) through the Spring, Summer and Fall!

    Later,

    Mike

Mike, you are a cruel cruel man ...

Winter is officially only half over up north.

        What are 'warm slippers'?

It's only been below freezing once this winter so I see no need for 'warm slippers'.
You only need 'warm slippers' if it stays in the teens.

Here in central California, the mornings are still a little chilly, but the rest of the day, nude time. The days have really been quite nice. Hopefully, winter is on it's way out.

I can't wait until I can lose the flip flops and just go barefoot! The only way to be truly nude.

Heck I've seen people hear wear sandals w/o socks when it's 20 degrees F. I don't think temp matters as long as your feet are tough enough.

Here in New England, we are in the middle of what must be our third or fourth "unseasonably warm" spell since December.

We have not had much snow this year. This is almost as if this is a year "without a winter" -- which we have had before.

Two years ago we had an extremely frigid spell of a few days - where the daily high temps did not exceed 5F and at night it went down to -13F.

I hope I never see that again....

This year, I've only had to use the snow-blower three times. I own two pairs of flannel-lined jeans - one, a pair of Carhartts, the other LL Beans. I own a pair of Bean Boots, some neat super-heavy flannel shirts, etc. and haven't had the chance to wear 'em yet, well, not very much.

I also have a pair of very warm slippers - I like those....
