  • How many hardcore nudist are left?

I came to this forum to meet people with ideas like mine(I know no two people will agree on everything) but am surprised how many people don't want to be seen nude by non-nudist. Now I hear the owner of Desert SunResort thinks body scanners are an invasion of privacy. I hear people saying being photograph nude is differant from being photograph with clothes on, being naked in public puts one at risk on sexual assault..etc..

So how many people here would live in a village where everybody of all ages walked around nude when ever possible, like nature/God intended?

I would move there in a heartbeat. If I could spend my entire day, every day completely naked and never have to wear clothes again, it would be a dream come true.

The Desert Sun quote came from Michael the GM, not John or Elizabeth Young. A light bulb went on over the head of someone from the Desert Sun newspaper to call a "real nudist resort" to find out what nudists think of the airport body scanners. Answer: at least one doesn't like the TSA seeing- or touching- his junk. :freak:

We would love to live at a nude village but reality is there is not one available so we visit a resort or campground and have nude parties as often as possible. When we can retire we might move to a full-time resort in 12 yrs or so. Or winter there and I won't have a problem telling the rest of the family. We would really like to establish a campground in our state since there are none.

                1. I tend to think it should be legal to go nude essentially anywhere that people wear clothes.

                2. Whether or not body scanners are needed for airport security, there is a difference between exposing oneself nude by choice, such as at a nudist venue, and being forced to expose one's nude form, as is arguably the case with the body scanners.

                  1. If a tree falls in the forrest and no one is near, does it still make a sound?
                  2. If a person steps into the body scanner at the airport in full view of everyone, is he suddenly nude??

Re: How many hardcore nudist are left?

I would love to live in a place where I can be nude all the time. Currently I'm a home nudist in Buffalo, NY but would like to take to the nest step but don't know where to go around here. I' practically nude all the time when I'm at home. All my friends are cool with it but no one else wants to join me so I'm a lone nudist but A) I don't mind been the only nude person in a room of where everyone else is clothed and B) Again no one is bothered by it.

P.S. Does anyone know of any good nudist beaches/places to go in the Western New York area in the summertime?

Go to the aanr.com page =>

                      Club Locator =>

you can enter a state or province and look. There are non-landed clubs that hold social events, and at least one landed club in New York. I did not check Ontario.

For Canadian clubs = fcn.ca and you can navigate to a page listing Ontario clubs http://fcn.ca/ontclubs.html

You can also go to Naturistsociety.com, look up Naturist Network, and take a look at clubs in NY and surrounding areas.

Money and Location are the TWO biggest obstacles. eg.

                        Locations:
Vancouver= Wreck Beach, Miami= Haulover, Edmonton=my acreage or Helios.(might try it)

                        Money:
Win the 649, big time, and I AM OUTA HERE! Would like nothing better than to stroll out of my living quarters nude and walk to the Beach anytime I want!

If there was a resort in my general vacinity, I would visit it on a regular basis, but, there are none closeby. The nearest one is hours away.

As I said in a reply that got lost in the crash.

I wasn't talking about really creating such a place. thats another thead.

As a kid I wanted to grow up and live in a tropical village with the natives.
I was amazed at how they allowed themselves to be filmed and photographed in the nude without western fears like someone could use this as porn or this invades my privacy. It's also interesting how natives in the tropics wore little clothing yet sexual assaults were very rare. I think the west can learn from them.

Before I came here, I thought nudist were above those western fears like tropical natives who bathe in the river with the whole village watching.

Not that am above western ideas and fears about nudity but I hope to be one day.
