Get ahold of me and I can help you get logged on.

After you install mIRC, type this in:

          /server us.undernet.org (or /server eu.undernet.org)

Once connected, type in /join #nudism.

              What is IRC ?
IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a virtual meeting place where people from all over the world can meet and talk you'll find the whole diversity of human interests, ideas, and issues here, and you'll be able to participate in group discussions on one of the many thousands of IRC channels, on hundreds of IRC networks, or just talk in private to family or friends, wherever they are in the world.

To use IRC you need a small program like mIRC, an IRC client for Windows, written by Khaled Mardam-Bey. mIRC is a friendly IRC client that is well equipped with options and tools. mIRC is shareware, which means that you can download mIRC and try it out freely for 30 days to evaluate it. If during, or at the end of, the evaluation period you decide that you would like to continue using mIRC, you must register your copy.

Registration is a one time payment of US$20.00, and licenses you to use future versions of mIRC as well.

                    Dear Mr. Fuzzy Nuts.
I also could not access the site, tried several times at various times, looks like it may not exist as the same error message is generated each time.

I would love to check it out Chief, but they apparently do not have a Linux download available. and I do not have a windows emulator up and running. thats another project for another time.

That link works and I viewed the page ok.
It seems very complicated and I personally am not interested, I will stay with tried and true simple e-mail.
However I should point out that you must pay for the software so be aware of that fact.

when I clicked on the original link I got the same error. but when I typed it directly into the address bar. it worked fine.

now if it only worked with Linux

John.. you're funny.. Why are you posting here at all on this thread if you're not interested? Why post that its too complicated just because you're too lazy to put forth effort to learn something new?

I'm very hopeful of getting some other nudists involved in what I've been involved with over 2 years. Its something I'm very excited about and find very neat to chat with people all over the world.

Anyway... IRC is a facility by which you simply need the right software to connect. Once you download and install mIRC. Then you connect to a server and connect to a chat channel. IRC is the original and oldest chat facility on the Internet. Its older than the web itself in fact.

This is a chat room with people from all over the world. Nudists from the US, AU, NZ, Germany, Austria, UK, etc, etc. visit there. It sometimes nice to get out and chat with nudists from different areas, especially all over the world... and I feel is worth a little extra work. I've ran it for around 2 years now and many people there I've known for nearly that long. Its an interesting place to meet new people..

mIRC is only one IRC client you can use. It is shareware.. Of course you should pay for it, but there is no need to. I have paid for it because I used it for so long, but honestly did not pay for it after the first 30 days of use. It takes a bit longer to really decide on which one you use. And of course, no one is going to come cut your fingers off if you use some piece of shareware a bit over its agreed upon time.
