After being around here for a few years, I finally decided to take the plunge. I went to Little Beach in Makena, Maui, which is the unofficial nude beach on Maui (since it's technically not legal).
It was absolutely awesome. I was out of my clothes and into the water in no time. It felt great, and then I just lay in the sand to dry off. People were nude all around, just enjoying themselves quite normally, even when the gawkers came around from the Big Beach.
I went back the next day while I still had reliable transportation, and just took my time to enjoy myself. I desired going back before I left the island, but alas, I couldn't get the ride there. Still, it's opened me up to new possibilities and I've gotten rid of those first time jitters. What's more, the girl I'm seeing seems open to the idea, so maybe I'll travel around the northeast this summer with a companion.
